You have to be in for the long haul on this one. It's mostly senior health facilities, which are all going to be crammed full in the next ten years.

    Endless shares at 14.69 seemingly

Time to offer 22 bucks and take this out as a private reit

    Amazing
Almost 7 m shares and up only 3 percent
And now down almost 2 percent again

At some point it’s like -
    Who is selling??
9.5 times ffo vs 12-14 historically
8 plus percent dividend that is very well covered at less than 80 percent payout of ffo
And collected over 99 percent of payments through Covid

    Again is some fund saying
Wow I made .20 cents I’ll dump all my 1,000,000 shares now ?

I am looking to invest in SBRA but am concerned that while it pays a nice dividend, the stock has been declining in price over the past 5 years basically eliminating the benefit of the dividend. Can you tell me why YOU invest in SBRA?

    Def very heavy accumulation
Can def blow past 17 if one or two analysts raise the price based on better occupancy rates coming in 2022 with the Pfizer oral
Div vesting coming in the next ten days also !

I now believe the drop in share price preceding the quarterly results was due to advance insider knowledge of the pending sale of half a billion dollars in new shares. Even the best of financial results and a fresh dividend announcement could not avoid a negative market reaction to 28 million new shares of dilution. Now we will have to wait to see how aggressively the market snatches up the new shares.

Hey yahoo community, currently 19 y/o and looking to start stashing my money into a REIT for the long term. I felt like heath care is the way to go since old people are always gonna need care somewhere. Thoughts on this stock or any suggestions?

    Very small dilution
    3 percent
Easy to handle within current dividend level
Plus they take care of what would have been a potential problem
Simon Property has successfully done with a number of retailers
    I think a smart move
    Still see 21-22 next year

Well, it appears, based on yesterdays volume, that about a million+ shares had some advance notice of todays releases. Glad I only bought 450 shares at the low yesterday. Share price will probably take more of a dunking tomorrow. At least they have more than adequate FFO and EPS to cover the current dividend. Hope they announce continuation of the dividend at the current rate, otherwise we are in for a tough remainder of the year.
