Yahoo! has been so bad lately - especially the SCHW board. I like using (http://Themaxgains.tech) now instead for my daily research.

TDAmeritrade cancels bill pay feature as of 9-7-2022. Will Schwab follow suit? Will the merger ever get done?

When was the last time a SCHW earnings report got a favorable reaction from the market?
Exactly, and don't expect it this time either.

TD announced today that it has sold 28,400,000 shares of non-voting common stock of The Charles Schwab Corporation ("Schwab"), with 15,030,813 shares being sold to Schwab pursuant to a repurchase agreement with pricing determined by the price obtained in a sale of 13,369,187 shares being sold at the same price to a broker dealer pursuant to Rule 144 of the Securities Act of 1933. In connection with such sales, all such shares automatically convert into shares of Schwab voting common stock the shares acquired by Schwab will no longer be outstanding.
The shares sold represent approximately 1.5% of Schwab's issued and outstanding common stock, reducing TD's ownership interest in Schwab from approximately 13.4% to 12.0%.

No sense in even thinking about buying financials before another 50% down. Schwab bear market target 30-35

The news of Schwab cheating retail customers is shocking. I'm moving all my investments from Schwab to Vanguard.

Recieved E-Mail from Schwab about SEC settlement about their Intelligent Portfolio. Maybe I'll get part of that settlement.

Those that don't understand the business are selling out of fear... Those that do are holding and possibly buying more shares, which will end up being a gift one day. Schwab is focused on gathering assets and offering free trades is a great way to drive more assets their way. Sell if you don't like the move... PLEASE!!

Very smart of Schwab to acknowledge the way the industry was headed and get on with the zero commissions already. That stops the bleeding of losing to free brokers, while at the same time forcing their competitors who rely MUCH more heavily on commissions to adapt or go extinct.

Schwab will be the long-term winner here. Their service and diversified business model will enable them to succeed despite losing that 4% revenue line item. I expect consolidation in the future.

Did SCHW restrict trading in GME, NOK, and others? I haven't been trading the stocks in question. Just curious because I have been mostly happy with SCHW for many years.
