Committee to select new construction management adviser for Tanger Center

Greensboro Coliseum Complex Director Matt Brown will preside over an internal building committee meeting Wednesday at the ACC Hall of Champions to select a construction manager adviser (CMA) for the Steven B. Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, Coliseum Complex spokesman Andrew Brown told Triad Business Journal. Like it or not, Thursday's vote means St. Pete will get a new pier

Construction will officially start on the new St. Petersburg pier after City Council members approved the first $17.6 million phase of construction, laying the foundation for the new waterfront attraction. A city-funded study showed the new pier would have an $80 million economic impact in its first year of being open, though some residents question whether that’s an accurate assessment.
