EU's recent commitment to LNG will help the future prices for years to come. Bullish for SWN and others.

Today in the stock market you can observe very very very slow process of transferring money from the impatient to patient investors! It will continue for at least two more weeks. 😏

So as we bid adieu to 1H2022 and realize SWN had a positive YTD return in comparison to many other stocks that are down hard, we've done well!

I feel that we could fall down to near $5.00.
I also suspect this is more about manipulation than Freeport.

The only winners are the $9 traders. Will wait for the next buy. Not sure it will hit $”below $6 again. Right now ST trades. No LT holds.

I'm quietly adding for the run to November and beyond. No loud fanfare, no grandiose promises. Hedges are resetting, Freeport is under repair, winter is coming. Cheers!

k I try to figure out what I'm missing...something seems to hold it back...it sure isn't fundamentals as PE is around 3.5 even with the low hedges thru 2023. They will reduce debt by 40% and buy back 10% of stock by end 2023 under same low price hedging scenario. If these knuckelheads could hedge at 4$ (it's out there to be had) instead of 3$ for 2024 & 2025 they could buy back the entire stock in those 2 years or half or and all the debt and over half of the stock. Should be FCF upwards of 3 bil a year.

I held this stock thru thick and thin. Not going to let the market make me feel all my DD is suddenly wrong due to 30 days of market panic.

I dont see much evidence of this as of yet but the market appears to be baking in that energy production will overshoot demand in the coming months. This drop is across the board and there was a article out on Marketwatch which talked about dumping energy now and trying to beat slumping demand. What is troubling is the volume. The article also mentioned that most energy stocks are now down 20% or more off their highs and officially in bear territory as well. These drops have surprised me as well. DVN was slightly green most of the day but sold off later in the day.

Cogito Ergo Sum: I do own 12,000 shares, but it was a joke to make the board laugh. I have plenty of powder left. I bought a bunch today but have a feeling that the last flush will be tomorrow. It usually is on Friday. I do not have the money that some of you guys have. GLTA

I am good. I hope you and every person on the board are doing OK. I will hold forever. We just have to wait and see. I am glad to see the board shaping up.

The last time SWN was this cheap was when Nat Gas averaged around $4.85. We could only dream of such prices that we have seen in the last qtr. The biggest change of all has been in the futures market. 2023 and 2024 Nat Gas prices were terrible back in March. Now, you can hedge Nat Gas in the mid $4 range for either year. That is a 56% increase in earnings that can drop to the bottom line.

I now own 12,000 shares of SWN. I just got carried away. I sure hope it goes up soon, or they will carry me away.

Interesting after today's sharp fall in NG prices they ended the quarter almost exactly where they started the quarter.
Which means for the first quarter in a long time SWN isn't going to report either a large unrealized gain or loss on hedges.

Guys, I’m NOT telling you to buy them but AMD and NVDA stocks in my opinion do not deserve to be traded at 50% discount.

You can see the example how Wall Street works!

Hopefully the analysts who did not call for a downturn in January, but are now calling for a further drop, looking at you Goldman, is a capitulation point and not a good call.

Demand for the cheapest Nat Gas in the World is not going to be pummeled due to a recession.

Oil and gas green and this dog is red. I thought the buyback would set up some good support

Why is NG down 12 percent?
