As a Visa Investor, I would like the 5% drop on the initial Amazon Ban news... back............although I doubt I'll get it tomorrow.....:(

    Amazon blinked.

There was an article that CRM (Salesforce) reported holiday online sales topped $1.1 trillion in sales. This should be reflected in Visa upcoming ER. This bodes well for payment stocks and Visa should see a lions share of this number along with MA. Visa at $240 going into ER at end of month.

Another message pulled.. This should pop 5-10% on the Amazon news of doing the ban on Visa. This was the only major uncertainty, and now it's gone. It did give them the opportunity to buy back stock at a much lower price than normal.

Just wait till they report earnings. Would not be surprise if V and Ma up $40 in one day.

My cost based $248 100 shares. Straight South the day I bought. Can’t imagine owning more shares with this volatile market. Approaching a point of no return. Target does not look close to being achievable

They had some interesting insights about V on (http://financialdeals.tech). Definitely made me think twice about the company.

Yesterday the stock came back well from the lows of the day. Not sure why it can't get over the hump today. Premarket was great - sad they it could not hold. Thought this would be back to 215 today or higher.

V still has a chance, market seems to be moving in the right direction.

Amazing that this stock so often ends at the prefect spot to profit the Market Makers.....

I sold today. Short term is not good for the stock. Company is not going anywhere though and I would encourage folks to just stay patient. I see a lot of headwinds for the stock with the rising interest rates which will reduce the stock multiple in the short run. That being said; the stock/company has pricing power and while it will slow down a bit in the short run, it's going to explore up to 300-500 in the long run. I honestly expect V earnings to quadruple over the next 3-4 years while the number of transactions per year to only increase by as little as 30%. Visa has incredible pricing power and it's going to win in the long term. That does not mean that the market is going to kick the #$%$ out of it due to its high multiple in the short run however. I expect we will re-test the 190 before the end of March. There is a good chance we will burst through it. But.. as above, we will likely head way up to 300-500 within the next 3-5 years.

Go Research $V History Prior to Covid.
Qtr ending 12/2019 had Rev of 6.05B up from 5.5B 12/2018 - stock price was $212 early Feb 2020 w/ target over $260.
Now, 2 yrs later (12/21 Qtr) the estimate is ~6.8B this wld be up 19.33% - $1.1B from prior 5.69B in 12/20 and most importantly Up 750 million over the 12/2019 Qtr. Anything even close to the estimate would crush the 12/2018 to 12/2019 growth of $505 million, which propelled $V stock price from ~145 to $212 from 2018 to 2019.
If estimates are anywhere near correct, the profit margins wld be unmatched. The huge increase in rev wld end any narrative of market share.
$V should be north of $270/share and if Omnicron finally ends the plague - $V will be unleashed w/ Travel and the free economy roaring back to normality w/ a huge surge!

Low volume today and it seems V may hold onto the $220 level going into the close, the dreaded final 10 minutes. VISA should easily be trading around $230 until ER. With strong holiday season should give solid ER numbers, but what is most important is guidance, and that should reflect an expectation this COVID FARCE will end. But this administration wants to keep it going so investors need to look beyond their words and reporting, and watch how our leaders are partying hardy, so is this true or just a useful political tool.

I am very techie and into crypto and alternative sources of payments and still only use Visa and Mastercard and my debit card. We just arent there yet and it wont be until another 20 yrs before Visa even has competition. Be real people.

Retail numbers for December looked good at increase 8.5% retail and 11% online sales. I would expect next ER we see Visa back around $235 and then soon after new highs around $260. Especially if we start seeing and reporting Omicron as a "nothing burger" it is. Looks like this is a cold or flu, no more.
