So now the COMPANY comes out and revises outlook due to demand. What have I been saying for MONTHS now? That premium apparel does not sell well in economic downturns. Many of you (nah, it was just this guy "b") said the VF brands were so much in demand, there would be no reduction in sales. Oops. Good to see you, new 5-year low!

Bought several more shares today. Will continue to keep buying shares every week. Especially during red weeks. Until the bear market ends.

Wow that was a big slash in earnings. We may get into the 20’s now. Long term this has to be a steal at these levels. Maybe start nibbling soon.

New five-year low today. It should help keep the dollar cost averaging folks happy by bringing down the average entry point to the stock. So while maybe things continue to go woefully bad for the stock, those of us with long-term vision are thrilled to be able to buy this "gem" at a lower and lower price.

my big issue with so many of these companies, VFC as prime example is the relatively high level of debt they have on the balance sheet at a time where rates are going hyperbolic. How many of these companies will run into problems while re-upping their debt loads. I was looking at Viatris for example. I mean talk about a steady company, but they have $20B in debt.
Does anyone know what VFC's debt maturity profile looks like?

Steve Rendle, chairman, president and chief executive officer, said the $11.8 billion company was “hitting on all cylinders” and that “we’ve never been more confident in our strategy.”

Seriously? The stock is $32 per share. 2011 levels.

I was so close to pulling the trigger but couldn’t help but think it gonna go lower. Am I being too greedy? Perhaps.

I hope we don't hit $5 like we did in 2020.

To me this is too good of an opportunity to pass up. I always wanted shares in an apparel company and a Dividend aristocrat is hard to beat. I got assigned at 40 on Friday after a month of rolling that put. Good luck longs!

the November puts show a lot of implied volatility to the downside. I'm going to hang tight and not add.
to wit, the November $35's have a $1.55 premium.
