VeriSign is the sole registry for .com and .net domains and it operates two of the 13 global internet root servers. The company competes with Israeli-based Wix.com and GoDaddy, which provide easy-to-use tools to build website and scale businesses. VeriSign posted revenue of $384 million for the quarter ended March 31, compared with $364 million a year ago.
Strong Start to 2024 with Revenue and EPS Growth
Domain name registry operator Verisign (NASDAQ:VRSN) reported results in line with analysts' expectations in Q1 CY2024, with revenue up 5.5% year on year to $384.3 million. It made a GAAP profit of $1.92 per share, improving from its profit of $1.70 per share in the same quarter last year.
