Boots has an always will be a go to store. It’s go perfumery makeup, and must have toiletries.
Unless KKR go again and take it private or something similar happens this is a great value growth stock to own. I owned boots back mid 90’s, was taken private then I bought again last year, not many ..250, amongst 5 other stocks to my 28 stocks

WBA Walgreen is sold off big as part of the Food and Staples Retailing sectors while the whole Food and
Staples Retailing sector's companies are all UP big. Walgreen could be mis-understood as part of the Health Care's as the whole Health Care Sector is down big today.

WBA need to make a play for RAD, or this company will never return to its heyday of America’s pharmacy. John Standley was hired for that one purpose in my opinion. What are you waiting John? Pessina?

Walgreen just declared a quarterly dividend. ""WBA today announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 46.75 cents per share, unchanged from the previous quarter and an increase of 2.2 percent from the year-ago quarter. The dividend is payable June 11, 2021, to stockholders of record as of May 21, 2021.

Walgreens Boots Alliance and its predecessor company, Walgreen Co., have paid a dividend in 354 straight quarters (more than 88 years) and have raised the dividend for 45 consecutive years.""

What a great company to own!!. We still collect the lllllllll dividend at 3.50% or .4675 cents per quarter while waiting for WBA stock to rise to $60 near term under its new CEO leadership with her outstanding tract record.

Good to see that my post mentioned about possible $WBA buyout offer post got removed.
Expect $WBA buyout offer before July earnings/board elections and expect counter offer from $AMZN. Management will announce after taking the yearly free shares.
$WBA must offer same or more than what Rite Aid paid to earn Bartell Drugs($1.42 million time no. Of stores), $4 billion for PBM, plus Ice cream brand, inventory and many more.
Altogether, the buyout price would be $9 to $10 billion without any premium.

PFE 's CEO is calling for a 3rd vaccination shots from PFE vaccines in order to fight the new Variants and it is a great news for WBA. It is known that the new CEO of Walgreen is closed to the White House Admin as WBA was part of the "ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES" which was produced by NBC/WHITE HOUSE/WALGREEN and was aired on April 18-2021. It is likely WBA will get many future big contracts for the 3rd Covid- 19's shots if approved by NTH and CDC. It is big business and very profitable for WBA's bottom line.
    vaccinations.

COVID mega sites will be shutting in a month or so. The one in our area gives 6 thousand shots a day. Pharmacies will pick up much of this, high volume hi margin business, of yearly COVID booster to cover for variants and boost waning immunity. This is inevitable, the question is how many coins are in this pot of gold, all we have to do is wait.

WBA----Walgreen is down today in sympathy of the whole markets sell-off. WBA is part of DOW 30 so it is
affected by the DOW 30 stocks sell-off.
CVS earnings beats both EPS and REVENUE and CVS is UP today as high as $3.00. Needless to say, WBA 's next earnings will be as good or even better. WBA needs to close at least @54.15 today in order to bounce back to $56 NEAR TERM.
Take advantage of today's sell-off and accumulate more WBA shares at this deep discount value.
WBA will go ex-dividend on 5-20-2021 or $.4670 per share.

Walgreens Boots Alliance Commences Tender Offer to Purchase Certain Outstanding Debt Securities
11:57 am ET April 9, 2021 (BusinessWire) Print
WBA -- News on ""Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq: WBA) today announced the commencement of cash tender offers (collectively, the "Tender Offer") for up to $2,750,000,000 aggregate principal amount of the senior notes listed in the table below (collectively, the "Notes"). "" . WBA is dressing up the balance sheet. It is perceived as great news and not sure why WBA is "sell-off" today. They still have
tons of CASH and the next move for the new CEO is stock repurchase to boost the stock price to $62 near term. I would accumulate more WBA shares from this pricing level.

The Covid Vaccine will have No impact on the stock price. If their website for vaccination is any indicator, the stock is doomed. I believe more people are so frustrated by using their website that they will go somewhere else for their vaccine, and hence reduced store traffic and sales.

This is a TEMPORARY setback, as we climb into the eighties in another month or two. Hold on for a tsunami of profits in price appreciation and dividends later in the year! Up, up, and away..
