The Alkaline Water Company enjoys a very healthy ~41% gross profit margin. Gross profit margin essentially represents the ability of a company to convert sales into real money after deducting the cost of goods sold. In this way, the company is actually making money from its products. In fact, gross profit for 2019 stood at $16.84M from $12.94M in 2018. The reason why the company is unable to convert a growing gross profit to cash is the fact that it keeps increasing sales and marketing expenses to keep growing even more.

I only invest in companies I believe in and products that I use,” said O’Neal. “Alkaline88 checks both boxes. We’ve got big plans for this company, and I’m looking forward to being a key player in its continued success.”

The company noted that O’Neal and Keay’s investments accounted for more than 40% of the entire nonbrokered private placement, which comprised 4,757,381 subscription receipts sold at $1.05 per receipt; the gross proceeds of the private placement totaled $4,995,250.05. According to the announcement, WTER anticipates using the proceeds to expand production capacity and for use as general working capital.

“Alkaline88 continues to be one of the most prominent growing premium functional waters in the category,” state Keay. “Having just reported another record year, the company could not be better positioned for aggressive growth throughout fiscal 2022 in multiple different sales channels. Leading this financing alongside Shaquille is not only an honor but an aligned testament to both our beliefs that Alkaline88 is becoming a household name for premium waters and a go-to brand across America.” Lion stock of 2022💯💯💯

Just wondering if any posters noticed that the company lost $10,300,000 in the last quarter? Sales were up 1 million but losses were up 3 million over the previous quarter. They need better internal controls.

the aggressive marketing approach has and will continue to pay off! You can bet big beverage is eyeing us because of the impressive yoy growth! A buyout would pay us all very handsomely! I will continue to add at this low price!

They just print more free shares late on Friday Feb 14, 2022 and issue another SEC filing again. As shareowner you ought to know.

Makes too much of a loss to be a viable business any more. 50% on every bottle loss. That’s simply not sustainable and new waters such as a myriad of Hawaiin waters have hit the market which are far superior in taste, minerals and naturally alkaline. I’ve took a huge 70% loss on this stock and am over it.
So focused on growth while simply not keeping eye on consumer preferences and price (opportunity), double the price of this water which is what is needed and consumers will switch IMO.

pumpers try to spin the news and avoid actual facts. Since Nov 5 sp has been decreased. They claimed the national marketing campaign kick off on oct 22, with many major events scheduled which intend to increase sales. And hope that enhance sharevalue.

    Nothing work

New York Time square billboards did not increase sales
SI awards did not impact sales and the main man did not even show up

Shareprice is at $1.13, and super bowl is only days away

None of them could defend the actual facts so they just name calling and personal attack!

Wter is the fastest growing water market in the world! They have been very aggressive at throwing money in sales, marketing etc,, and it’s cost a lot of money! It’s odious that it’s paid off because look at their revenue year over year! It’s just a matter of time before this is a profitable company and we all reap the beautiful rewards!

The Alkaline Water Company is now focusing on broader ways to further strengthen its well-established brand, acquire an even greater retail presence, and expand its already-extensive product range.
Indeed, right now, these are all areas the company is actively pursuing—and achieving—and, as a result, it expects to grow significantly over the next twelve months.
Over the longer term, its aim is to become one of the most successful start-up beverage companies in history.
