Xylem announced plans to expand its support for the ongoing recovery and rebuilding efforts in Puerto Rico in the aftermath of the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria. The Company has pledged financial support, including matching employee contributions, as well as a new effort to bring clean water to several of the hardest hit areas of the island.
The Board of Directors of Xylem Inc. has declared a fourth quarter dividend of $0.18 per share payable on December 6, 2017 to shareholders of record as of November 2, 2017.

At World Water Week 2017 in Stockholm, Xylem (NYSE:XYL), a leading global water technology company, will lead and participate in forums focused on accelerating the smarter management of water and wastewater. Taking place from August 27- September 1, World Water Week will center on the theme of “Water and Waste: Reduce and Reuse” and be attended by more than 3,000 professionals from some 300 businesses, agencies and non-governmental organizations. On Sunday, August 27, Xylem is co-convening a forum entitled “Data Drought: An Assessment of Global Hydrological Monitoring Systems” along with Duke University, the Aspen Institute and the University of Oxford.
Executives from leading global water technology company Xylem (NYSE: XYL), including President and CEO Patrick Decker, will participate in forums focused on examining emerging trends in the water sector, particularly the adoption of smart technologies, at the Global Water Summit 2017, taking place in Madrid, Spain on April 24-25. The winners of the Global Water Awards will also be announced at the event and Xylem is shortlisted in the ‘Smart Water Company of the Year’ category. On Tuesday, April 25, Mr. Decker will participate in the ‘CEO Forum’ to discuss key issues facing the global water sector, including the impact of globalization and the digital revolution, and share perspectives on the role of advanced technologies in advancing the water sector’s migration to smart infrastructure.
In celebration of World Water Day, Xylem Inc. (NYSE:XYL) is launching a month-long volunteer challenge for Xylem colleagues across the globe to highlight the importance of water and environmental issues. Starting today and extending through to Earth Day (April 22), the ‘Make Your Mark 30-Day Challenge’ is an initiative of Xylem Watermark, the Company’s corporate citizenship program, through which Xylem colleagues will be able to volunteer to participate in a range of activities to protect safe water resources and educate communities about water-related challenges.
