If you’re not using eyeshadow as part of your everyday makeup routine, you should really consider it. Choose one that’s easy to apply and highly pigmented, and it can make you look gorgeous and glam without much time or effort.

I’m partial to these $5 eyeshadow sticks, but Amazon shoppers convinced me to try the e.l.f. Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow, and I’m hooked. It’s super easy to apply, goes on smoothly and delivers gorgeous results — no makeup expertise required.

e.l.f. Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow, $6

$6 at Amazon

Don't let the name fool you; the e.l.f. Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow isn't so wet that it will drip and get everywhere. Instead, rather than traditional eyeshadows, which are usually powder, this liquid eyeshadow is more of a creamy formula that glides smoothly over your eyelid.

It’s available in eight different shades on Amazon, and the Moon hue is my personal fave. It’s the perfect universally flattering shade that looks good as an eyeshadow on your lids, in the corner of your eye and even as a subtle highlighter on your cheekbones. I just rub a little wherever I want it, blend just a bit and, voila, gorgeous and glam in a flash.

As I mentioned earlier, it was Amazon shoppers that swayed me into purchasing this product. They give it 4.4 out of 5 stars and have left more than 3,100 reviews for the e.l.f. Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow.

“I hope this makeup doesn’t blow up on TikTok,” one shopper titled their review. “I’m a massive fan of this makeup’s pigmentation and hologram look. It’s hard to capture on camera but for the price, you have nothing to lose by buying a couple to test out. Absolutely brilliant.”

Another shopper commented, “The e.l.f. eyeshadows are perfectly awesome. They are lightweight, they shimmer and doesn’t have that heavy eyelid feel.” They went on to say, “These are perfect.”

Now that I’ve used the e.l.f. Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow in Moon, I’m so tempted to try another color. I am by no means a full-face makeup kind of girl, but this eyeshadow makes me look like I know what I’m doing. People always compliment me when I wear it, and really, what’s better than that?
