Amazon Driver Models 'Turn Around, Don't Drown' as Flash Flooding Hits Tennessee

Emergency officials in Tennessee praised an Amazon driver who followed the axiom “turn around, don’t drown” in Williamson County, as heavy rain brought flash flooding to parts of the state on September 21.

Footage shared by Dinah Wade from Williamson County Rescue Squad (WCRS) captured the moment, which the WCRS praised as “the right decision” when the driver encountered the flooded roadway.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued multiple flash flood warnings in the state.
