Animals From Around the World Celebrate International Bath Day at Chicago Zoo

The Brookfield Zoo in suburban Chicago, Illinois, marked International Bath Day on June 14 by sharing footage of three animals getting blissfully soaked and cleaned.

Video shared with Storyful via a zoo press release shows animals from South America, Australia, and Africa being hosed down.

“Lupito, an 8-year-old anteater, celebrated with a hose spraying from animal care staff as well as rolling around in a tub of water,” wrote the zoo. “Echo, a 6-year-old emu, and Layla, a 10-year-old black rhinoceros, also were treated to refreshing sprays of water.” Credit: Lynette Kleisner/CZS-Brookfield Zoo via Storyful
