Anti-Mask Demonstrators Gather at Fort Lauderdale Target

Protesters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, gathered at a Target on September 15 to demonstrate against the mandatory use of face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Video of the protest, filmed by journalist John Gustavo, shows demonstrators walking inside the Target retail store with no masks on and singing along to the Twisted Sister song We’re Not Gonna Take It.

Target retail chains require customers to wear a face covering inside their stores as part of the company’s COVID-19 safety measures.

Among the protesters is Cristina Gomez, who previously attended a commissioner’s meeting for residents of Palm Beach County in Florida and erupted in anger after a unanimous vote to make masks mandatory in the area. Credit: John Gustavo via Storyful
