Biarritz's Main Beach Deserted as G7 Security Forces Restrict Area Ahead of Summit

Biarritz’s famous beach, the Grand Plage, was deserted on August 24, as the area was cleared of holiday-makers and sun-seekers in advance of the G7 summit taking place in seaside venues nearby.

Security measures were enforced throughout the resort town from August 23 onwards, according to reports.
