Block stock rises on positive Q1 earnings

AKIKO FUJITA: Well, Block's first quarter earnings are out now. The tech company reported a beat on both the top and bottom lines. Revenue coming in at just under $5 billion, topping the $4.5 billion estimate, while an EPS of $0.40 tops the estimate of $0.32. Block currently trading higher in after hours, getting a bit of a pop. The stock now up more than 2%.
