Blood from culled pigs polluted South Korean border river

A South Korean civic group said this week that a river near the inter-Korean border was polluted with blood from pig carcasses after the country was hit by African swine fever. Video filmed by the civic group called 'Yeoncheon Imjin River Civic Network' on Monday (November 11), which Reuters cannot independently verify, showed Imjin River partly turning red and pig carcasses piled up at the burial areas in Yeoncheon, just a few miles from the demilitarised zone separating the two Koreas.
