Buffalo Police Officer Shoots Hoops With Kids While on Patrol

A police officer pulled up to a group of kids playing basketball in Buffalo, New York, on August 13 and turned the street game into an opportunity to engage with the community, and to show off his skills.

Officer Jose Rivera said he was on patrol with his partner when he took up the chance to have some fun after one kid started to “trash talk” and challenged him to play. “The rest is history,” Rivera said.
