Car Crushed by Tree in Tropical Storm Zeta Still Driveable

A partially crushed Honda CRV was spotted slowly making its way down a leaf-strewn street in Atlanta after northern Georgia was battered by Tropical Storm Zeta on October 29.

Decatur resident Carlton J Parks, who shot this footage, told Storyful the car was “crushed by [a] 120 foot tree” and had to be moved by a tree removal crew attending the scene, who “were surprised that it started and was driveable.”

In the video, the driver manages to operate the vehicle despite its caved in roof and severely bent chassis.
