Chevron, Exxon face energy headwinds, lower profits in Q1

Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Chevron (CVX) reported their first quarter earnings, with both companies revealing a fall in revenue for the quarter compared to the same period last year. However, both companies beat Wall Street expectations for revenue for the quarter. Chevron claims the revenue drop is partly due to lower margins on refined product sales.
