Cleanup in California After Damaging Storms, With More to Come

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services warned residents that “another round of significant weather is expected” after storms hit the state, causing power outages, mudslides and downing trees on January 27.

This video, shared by the agency, shows several different clips of storm damage, including footage of a tree that smashed through part of a house.

Local news reports said the major storm system was forecast to continue dropping rain and snow until the early hours of Friday, January 29.

The storm triggered mudslides in several areas previously scorched by wildfires.
