Clever Calf Catches Drips From Leaky Roof on Its Tongue

A leaking barn roof can be a nightmare for farmers, but it seemed like a dream for this dairy calf living in northwest England as she was spotted catching water droplets on her tongue on February 15.

Video recorded by Pip Brandon shows a clever calf named Sundrop standing in the barn directly beneath the leak with her tongue outstretched to ‘catch’ the falling water droplets.

Brandon told Storyful the leak in the roof was likely due to the rainfall from Storm Dennis, which swept across the United Kingdom and various parts of Northern Europe over the weekend of February 15.
