Crews Clean Up Scottish Borders After Deadly Storm Arwen Lashes UK

Counties in the Scottish Borders cleaned up on November 30, after deadly Storm Arwen hit the UK with gale-force winds, rain, and snow.

This video taken by Craig Paterson on Boleside Road in Galashiels shows crews working to clear a broken tree on Tuesday morning.

At least three people were killed by falling trees across the United Kingdom, including one in Aberdeenshire, amid the strong winds, reports said.

Other footage showed trees flattened by gale-force winds in Aberdeenshire and an RNLI lifeboat thrashing in the sea in Dunbar during the storm. Credit: Craig Paterson via Storyful
