Crocodile Tears Fish Apart on Queensland Golf Course

A group of golfers watched a crocodile savagely tear apart a large fish on a golf course at the Mirage Country Club in Port Douglas, Queensland, on April 16.

This video, filmed by Cairns resident Gary Cutler, shows the powerful reptile snapping the fish apart before attempting to devour it.

Cutler, who told Storyful that his group was at the 18th tee when they saw the crocodile eating the fish, said “It was a spectacular event of nature we were privileged to see.”

Crocodiles have been spotted on the golf course before, according to the Brisbane Times, who reported that a crocodile longer than three meters was removed from the course in 2015. Credit: Gary Martin Cutler via Storyful
