Yahoo Finance's Julie Hyman breaks down leading business headlines on emergency contraceptive sales following the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision, the pilot shortage, and bidding for Toshiba.

JULIE HYMAN: CVS, Rite Aid, and Walmart are capping purchases of emergency contraceptives commonly known as morning after pills or Plan B. This move comes amid the aftermath of the Supreme Court voting to overturn Roe v. Wade. CVS noted it wanted to ensure consistent supply of emergency contraceptives on its store shelves, thus limiting purchases of brands like Plan B and Aftera to three per order. Walgreens, on the other hand, said it doesn't have any plans at this time to place a purchase limit on emergency contraceptives.

American Airlines regional carrier Envoy Air is offering pilots triple pay to pick up uncovered trips on their days off in the month of July. That's according to CNBC. This in an effort to curb flight disruptions, as the industry is braced for the peak summer travel season, with the 4th of July travel on the horizon. However, American Airlines says, currently, Envoy is fully covered with its flight schedule this summer.

US private equity firm KKR reportedly stepping back from a potential $22 billion bidding war for Toshiba. This decision coming as KKR's enthusiasm dwindled for the Japanese industrial icon. Instead, it would aim to acquire businesses that would be spun off during the privatization process. All of this leaves the door open for other bidders like Bain Capital in lead position to acquire Toshiba.
