Cyclist Struck by Car in Downtown LA as Dodgers Fans Celebrate World Series Win

A cyclist was struck by a car in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 27, as Los Angeles Dodgers fans celebrated the team’s Major League Baseball World Series win.

This video shows a driver of a black car performing donuts at the intersection of Olympic Avenue and Grand Avenue. The car then strikes the cyclist, who was walking across the road with a bicycle at the time of impact. The car then speeds away, as screams and expressions of outrage are heard. People then rush to help the individual, who stands up and walks away after the impact.

The Dodgers won Game Six of the series 3–1, taking out the series 4–2 against the Tampa Bay Rays. It marks the Dodgers’ first World Series title in 32 years, reports said. Credit: Josh Adam via Storyful
