Dashcam Captures Falling Fireball in Wakayama, Japan

A bright fireball was spotted across western Japan in the early hours of Sunday, November 29, NHK reported.

The director of the Akashi Municipal Planetarium in Hyogo Prefecture, Takeshi Inoue, told Japan Today that the meteor would be classed as a bolide due to its brightness. “We believe the last burst of light was as bright as the full moon,” he said.
