Detroit Police Department (DPD) Chief James E White confirmed in a briefing in the early hours of December 4 that Jennifer and James Crumbley, the parents of the suspect in the deadly November 30 Oxford High School shooting, had been arrested.
The pair were found in a building on Bellevue Street, police said.
The Crumbleys had failed to report to police after being charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter in connect with the school shooting.
Their 15-year-old son, Ethan, was charged as an adult with terrorism causing death and four counts of first-degree murder, in connection with the shooting. He also faces seven counts of assault with intent to murder and 12 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
