DirecTV, Dish in Talks to Merge

In a deal that could create the largest pay-TV distributor in the US, sources have said that AT&T is in talks to combine it's DirecTV service with Dish Network. The on-again, off-again merger efforts date back more than two decades, and is said to be in early stages.
