Diver Captures Close Encounter With Whale Shark

A diver managed to get up close and personal to a whale shark while swimming off the coast of Maafushi Island in the Maldives, sharing footage of the encounter to Instagram.

Video of the mesmerizing moment was captured by Rizkhan Mohamed of Shadow Palm Tours in the Maldives.

The company often shares both underwater as well as drone footage shot off the coast of the popular archipelagic state to its Instagram page.
