Drone Footage Shows Wildfire Smoke Engulfing Portland, Oregon

Drone footage of Portland, Oregon, taken September 10 showed smoke settled over the city as wildfires raged across the state.

Mayor Ted Wheeler announced a state of emergency for the city, with Portland’s air quality dropping to the worst in the world as of Friday.

Record-breaking fires burning in Oregon, California, and Washington have sent smoke as far as Europe, according to atmospheric measurements.
