Evacuations Ordered as Wildfire Fire Destroys Homes in Laguna Beach, California

A wildfire burning in Laguna Beach, California, destroyed homes and forced locals to evacuate on the afternoon of May 11.

The blaze was 150 acres in size, Orange County Fire Authority said in a Twitter post at around 6 pm local time.

Evacuations were ordered for parts of Laguna Niguel, while voluntary evacuation orders were issued in the Balboa Nyes and Moulton Meadows neighborhoods in Laguna Beach.
