Firefighter's Bodycam Reveals Extent of Major Scrapyard Blaze

A firefighter’s point of view during the fight to extinguish a massive scrapyard fire in western Sydney shows the full extent of a blaze that forced road closures on Monday, April 24.

Mount Druitt Fire Station was one of 20 to respond to emergency calls for help when the industrial site on Tattersall Road, Kings Park, erupted in flames, the Blacktown Sun reported.

Fire and Rescue NSW confirmed the firefighters fought for more than 18 hours to bring the blaze under control, with footage filmed by one crew member showing that process from a first-hand perspective. Credit: Mount Druitt Fire Station via Storyful
