Firefighters Respond to Newly-Sparked Brush Fire in Los Angeles

Firefighters responded to a newly-sparked brush fire in Los Angeles, California, on September 22.

According to local authorities the blaze, dubbed the Jeffrey Fire, broke out in Chatsworth on Wednesday afternoon at around 4pm.

The fire grew to nearly nine acres and although almost 100 homes were in its path, no evacuations were ordered. Crews later stopped all forward progress of the blaze.
