Funnel Cloud Nears Touch Down in Abilene

The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down near Abilene, Texas, on Tuesday, March 28.

This video was taken by a storm chaser in the area, who filmed the funnel cloud circling before it reached the ground eight miles west of Abilene.

The video was taken near Dyess Air Force Base, where the National Weather Service reported the tornado touched down.

About an hour after the funnel cloud was spotted, an all clear was posted from the base’s Facebook account.
