GE stock split, Wall Street searches for gains: Yahoo Finance Live

General Electric (GE) is finalizing its split into three separate public companies today. The energy business, GE Vernova (GEV), begins trading on the NYSE today, while GE Aerospace will continue to use the ticker GE. The company’s other unit, GE HealthCare (GEHC), split off last year. Wall Street is searching for gains today after a rough start to the second quarter yesterday. Investors will be keyed into the JOLTS report due out at 10 a.m. ET. Yahoo Finance trending tickers include Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (DJT), UnitedHealth Group (UNH), and Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL).
