Google planning more aggressive stock buybacks than Meta, Amazon

BRIAN SOZZI: All right, taking a look at our stat of the day, we are tracking stock buybacks among big cap tech companies in our stat here with a little help from Jefferies. Google has been the more aggressive purchaser of its stock compared to rivals, Meta and Amazon, buying back $135 billion since the start of 2018. Google also has the largest amount remaining within its stock buyback plan versus Amazon and Meta at $59 billion.
