A large hailstorm swept through Ashland, Mississippi, on Monday, March 27. The National Weather Service forecast hail as large as baseballs could fall in the Benton County town. This video shows the large hail slamming into a pool in Ashland.

A severe thunderstorm watch was issued early Monday, with much of the state under the advisory.
