Heavy Rain Causes Flooding and Landslides in Japan's Fukui Prefecture

Heavy rainfall struck Japan’s Fukui Prefecture, making some areas impassable due landslides and flooding on July 29.

This footage was shared by Instagram user @kabechi1002, who said it was captured in Fukui Prefecture’s Echizen City.

Governor of Fukui Prefecture Tatsuji Sugimoto said disaster countermeasures were established to help locals deal with the severe weather.
