Heavy Rainfall Brings Flooding to Southeast Queensland

Heavy rainfall brought flooding to southeast Queensland on November 30.

Rainfall totals of up to 70mm were recorded in the Border Rivers area catchment since 9 am Tuesday, after significant rainfall over the last week, the Bureau of Meteorology said.

Residents were asked to evacuate the town of Inglewood on Tuesday night as major flooding hit the Macintyre Brook catchment area. The Bureau of Meteorology expected major flooding at Inglewood Bridge at the time.
