'Help Get This Monster off the Street': Two Children Shot, One Dead, on Detroit Highway, Police Say

Two children were shot on the Interstate 75 in Detroit, Michigan, on June 17, with one of the children confirmed to have died, police said in a statement.

Detroit interim Police Chief James White said that a 2-year-old had died, while a 9-year-old was “fighting” for their life.

Police provided a description of a vehicle suspected to be connected with the shooting, but the suspect had not yet been apprehended.
