Hong Kong’s latest tech unicorn Animoca Brands is betting big on video game NFTs

Animoca Brands, a tech company recently valued at more than US$1 billion, is pioneering the integration of non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, in video games. NFTs are a blockchain-recorded ledger of who created and owns a specific gaming asset, a new technology that Animoca chairman and co-founder Yat Sui thinks can revolutionise the video game industry.
