Hospital Stocks Rally On ObamaCare Ruling
Hospital stocks are rallying in the stock market today after the Supreme Court upheld tax subsidies for ObamaCare. The 6-3 ruling relieves hospitals from an inflow of uninsured patients, who might have dropped their coverage if they weren't getting the tax credits. Community Health Systems shot up 12% in huge volume, breaking out of a nine-month-long price consolidation with a 57.82 buy point. LifePoint health shares soared 7.5% to a new high in big volume. The stock is now extended past a 76.94 cup-with-handle base buy point. HCA Holdings surged 8% to a new high. Volume was heavy. Shares are well extended from a 76.28 buy point. And Tenet Healthcare jumped 12% to an eight-month high in quick turnover. The stock is now trading about 10% below a 63.71 buy point form a nine-month-long price consolidation.
