Huge Waterspout Swirls Off Greek Island

A huge waterspout was seen swirling off the coast of Greece’s Naxos island on October 21, as a number of islands experienced stormy, wet conditions.

This video, posted to Instagram by Odysseas Kontopoulos, shows the formation rotating in the sea close to shore.

Local news reports said heavy rain, flooding and waterspouts were affecting a number of areas.
