Hundreds Join Together for Sister March in Wenceslas Square, Prague

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Wenceslas Square for a sister march on Saturday, January 21, to show unity with the thousands joining in the United States for the Women’s March on Washington.

The sister marches took place across the world on Saturday. The demonstrations were planned in protest of newly inaugurated United States President Donald Trump.

Along with demands for protecting civil rights, they called for peaceful coexistence between people and countries. They also demanded that journalists be allowed to do their jobs without fear of reprisals. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty via Storyful
