Indoor dining and entertainment venues reopen in England

Covid lockdown restrictions eased in England on Monday, as indoor leisure and entertainment venues have officially reopened, including pubs, cafes, restaurants, children’s play areas, cinemas and museums. Hotels, hostels and B&Bs have opened their doors again. The government is now allowing up to 1,000 people to attend larger indoor events such as music concerts and sporting events. Groups of up to six people (two separate households) can also now meet indoors and overnight stays are permitted. Under updated government guidance people will be able to hug close friends and family but citizens are being urged to remain cautious.
