Infowars Host's Outburst Interrupts Impeachment Hearing in DC

An Infowars talk show host was escorted out of the House Judiciary Committee impeachment inquiry hearing in Washington on Monday, December 9, after disrupting the opening minutes with a tirade accusing the Democratic Party of “treason.”

Owen Shroyer, host of the Infowars talk show The War Room, recorded his outburst at the hearing and posted it to Twitter on Monday morning. During the interruption, Shroyer said President Donald Trump was “innocent” and labeled the Democratic Party as treasonous.

“Jerry Nadler and the Democrat Party are committing treason against this country, and you can kick me out but he’s the one committing crimes — you are, Jerry Nadler. You’re the one committing treason. America’s done with this. America’s sick of the treason committed by the Democrat Party,” Shroyer says.

In this footage, Nadler, D-NY, the committee chairman, is interrupted by shouting just after he begins to speak. Shroyer is seen yelling in the back of the room as police quickly escort him out.

Directing his message to Nadler, Shroyer referred to the hearings as an “impeachment scam” and said Democrats were trying to “remove” Trump because “they don’t like him.”

“Americans are sick of your impeachment scam. They’re sick of the Democrat treason. We know who committed the crimes, and it wasn’t Trump. Trump is innocent,” Shroyer says on his way out of the room. Credit: CSPAN via Storyful
