Iowa Air Guard Refueling Tanker Flies Over College Football Game

An Iowa Air National Guard KC-135 aerial refueling tanker flew over the Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City on October 16 ahead of a college football game between Iowa and Purdue.

“Flying demonstrations like the one on Saturday are part of the U.S. Air Force aerial events program that are designed to demonstrate military capabilities and foster community support,” a statement said.
