Lava Shoots From La Palma Volcano as Eruptions Continue

Lava was seen bursting from La Palma’s Cumbre Vieja volcano as it continued to erupt on September 22 and 23.

Approximately 400 buildings had been destroyed by lava from the volcano by Thursday, El Pais reported.

This footage, posted by Karina Ryder on Instagram, shows lava shooting out from the volcano, four days after it became active, on September 19.
