'Less COVID, More Hunting': South Dakota Governor Gives Her Take on Social Distancing

South Dakota Gov Kristi Noem showed how social distancing is done in her state, standing in a corn field as she prepared to take aim at a game bird.

Footage tweeted by the governor’s official account on September 23 shows Noem decked out in hunting gear. “This is how we do social distancing in our state,” she says, before turning to shoot the bird.

“Less COVID, more hunting. That’s the plan for the future,” she says.

Needless to say, the video provoked a divided reaction on Twitter. Credit: Governor Kristi Noem via Storyful
